The Most Beautiful and Cozy Outdoor Fall Table Decor

Create beautiful fall table decor by mixing textures, colors, and patterns. You can also add in fresh pumpkins or fruit.

I am busy prepping my Fall table decorations and ready to host my friends for a fun-filled evening of pumpkin soup, pear and arugula salad, smoked pork chops, baked apples, and some pumpkin pie and ice cream. Want to come over?

Have you started to think about your fall or Thanksgiving table yet?

Today, I want to share the process of creating my fall table decor outside

First, I chose my color palette. This cute pumpkin plate inspired me. So I picked it up at Hobby Lobby and decided on these warm tones of gold, green and blue.

Choosing the Essential Plates and LInens for your Table Decor

S also found the green dinner plates and the white chargers at Hobby Lobby. Of course, I would always choose to use what I had at home first, but I was lacking on fall dishes, and these were all 50% off, so I did not spend much money.

For my linens, I worked with Nicky from Middleton Makes, who created these custom ice-dyed linens for me. She was so wonderful to work with, and the linens came out gorgeous. I gave her my Pantone colors, and she matched my plates perfectly.

I chose gold flatware ( that I already owned) to go with this theme, as it adds a warm tone to the Table and is perfect for my fall table decor.

And look at these dreamy gold glasses! I mixed these in with some vintage glasses I have had for years.

Choosing the Right Decor Items for my Table

I wanted flowers, candles, and pumpkins for my fall decor.

When people are dining, I think it is essential to keep the decor low so you can see each other.

I chose brass candlesticks to accompany my gold them and paired them with these gold-tone infinity wick candles.

I love that they are battery-operated, come with remote control, and never blow out. This is very important when you are dining outside.

Top off the Table with some beautiful velvet pumpkins, and you are good to go!

The WOW factor on the Table

I always like to have a wow factor when my guests arrive. It typically is a large floral arrangement in the center of the Table. While this is always beautiful, it is not practical. As I stated earlier, it is essential to keep your decorations low so that people can see one another across the Table.

I started with a vintage leather train case as my vessel for my flower arrangement. It was the perfect color and added an element of surprise to the Table. Try to use an unexpected item; it is also a great conversation piece.

I started with a beautiful blue bow contrasting with the browns and golds I used in my preserved foliage.

Next, I chose an assortment of faux gold leaves, blue-dried hydrangeas, and nice off-white pampas grass. I love the light and airy feel the pampas grass gives to an arrangement.

You can also get beautiful silk flowers at Michaels.

Move your flowers to another spot where your guests can still enjoy them, but they are out of the way.

Are you wondering about these incredible light fixtures?

Looking at them closely, I took wire garden baskets and turned them upside down to become light fixtures.

Here is how we did this.

We strung a commercial-grade string of lights from the Sheshed to my storage shed.

We then created these lampshades using wire baskets that you would typically use for planting.

I just turned them upside down. We used a lighting cord from Ikea to create these lights. They come in black or white. I used black.

I just turned them upside down. We used a lighting cord from Ikea to create these lights. They come in black or w; Ie; I used black.

First, remove the light bulb from the socket on the string lights. You then insert an outlet socket adapter into the socket.

Next, trim the lighting cord to the length you want and replace the end with an extension cord replacement.

Now you need to cut a hole in the bottom of the basket, just large enough to insert the lighting cord from Ikea. Next, you will see that you unscrew the ring on the cord, place the light into the basket and then screw the ring back onto the cord inside the basket.

Nicky from Mitleton Makes was kind enough to send me some extra napkins, which I tore into three-inch strips and wove the fabric through my baskets to create these darling lampshades to go with my fall table decorations.
