Sunday Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 43

Believe it or not, I’m fashionably late with this post – but with a fantastic excuse in tow!

You see, it’s that special time of the year again – our granddaughter’s birthday. And in our family tradition, we indulge in a one-on-one sleepover to celebrate the occasion.

The birthday girl gets to pick her favorite dinner spot, we embark on a bit of shopping adventure, and then we retreat back home for a delightful evening filled with dessert and a movie.

Poppi, being the sweetheart that he is, graciously took up residence in the other room, allowing us to transform Iya’s bed into the epicenter of our exclusive girls’ night in.

Maddie’s movie night choice was “Father of the Bride,” and our furry companions eagerly joined us on the bed for a cozy evening. Before settling in, Maddie indulged in a steaming hot shower to get warm and cozy.

Later, as I made my way to change into my pajamas, I walked into the bathroom to find a heart with Maddie’s name drawn on the window – a sweet surprise awaiting me.

The gentle glow of the moon and outdoor lights cast an enchanting illumination on the heart, and at that moment, I was on the verge of tears.

I don’t know if I will ever wash the window again!

What’s Happening at WM Design House?

The painting saga has concluded – after three months of the painters diligently working six days a week, our house is finally adorned in its new colors. Wrangling an all-wood house demanded meticulous preparation. There were days I felt like we were painting the Mayflower.

Ecstatic as we are with the fresh look, the focus now shifts to our outdoor haven. It’s time to step outside, breathe in the newfound beauty, and give our garden the attention it deserves. With spring on the horizon, my excitement is brewing to plant all the seeds, ensuring a spectacular garden awaits us in the coming season.
