Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 13
Welcome to Saturday’s sharing from the She Shed. I always aim to provide inspiration, creativity, and new ideas for your home and garden. In this weekly post, I share all the happenings at WM Design House and a bit of behind-the-scenes.
What’s happening at WM Design House
Happy Saturday! I am back from a fabulous vacation full of great friends, food, and fun. We had time to relax and enjoy the scenery. But…we came home with a friend, the Covid cooties :((.
Hawaii is such a special place. So beautiful to see all of the whales, turtles, and sea lions this time of the year, but we came home to quite a storm. It has been raining for the past three days, and the temps have been quite low for us here in So Cal.
What’s New
The new cutting garden is coming along. The gravel has been put down, and the bins are beginning to get filled with a special soil mix. I am so anxious to plant and counting the days until spring. In case you’re wondering, the first day of Spring is March 20th. If I piqued your interest with my special soil mix, I will share all the details in an upcoming blog post.
A few of my favorite gardening tools
Since I am in the gardening mood, I thought I would share three of my favorite new finds.
- My new galvanized bins came from amazon. We added some extra support to hold the weight of the dirt. I will explain all of the details in a future post. But if you are looking for a raised bin, these are great. I love the galvanized metal, which will hold up well over time.
- My favorite gardening shoes! These are the best. They are easy to slip on and not a problem if wet.
- Lastly, the Tubtrugs bucket is my all-time favorite item. It is lightweight, flexible, and easy to carry around for weeding.
The Homecrafted Society’s First Post was a Success
Our first blog post together for Valentine’s Day was a success. We all created such magical decor using paper hearts. In case you missed the post, you can see it HERE.
We will return on March 7th to bring you some spring inspiration.
