Sunday Sharing from the She-Shed

A look back on what is happening in the She shed and around the web. You will enjoy all of the Saturday sharing.

Welcome to Sunday’s sharing from the She Shed. My goal is always to provide inspiration, creativity, and new ideas for your home and garden. In this weekly post, I share all the happenings at WM Design House and what’s happening in the She shed.

It has been a while since I have written a sharing post, I honestly don’t know where the time goes, but it just seems to pass me by. We had the holidays, I redid my website, have spent a lot of time just trying to catch up, and we had a new grandson. Callum Rhett was born on January 11th, three weeks early, weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. We are excited to leave next week to visit this little love bug in Florida.

What is Happening at WM Design House

I am delighted with the outcome of my new website, it was a lot of work, but I am so glad that I took the time and learned some new skills. Now I can make changes as needed all by myself. I have enjoyed learning these new skills and enjoy the challenge.

Speaking of Challenges

Striving for a perfect life is unrealistic, and seeking one can lead to frustration. Rather than getting caught up in this unachievable goal, we must accept ourselves and our circumstances. Although being organized comes easily to some, it may be challenging for others. I know this to be true in my life; while I wish my world were in perfect order, this often is not the case. Seeing reality as it truly is—imperfect—and embracing who we are with our strengths and weaknesses helps create a sense of acceptance that allows us to take on the struggles of our real lives.

The She Shed Happenings

You may have noticed that I have not been doing my live videos in the shed.

There are several reasons I wanted to share.

First of all, it’s cold out there. I know you are laughing at me for those who live in the east, but for me, it’s hard.

The shed needs some love, and I just got to it today. She is now clean as a whistle, and I am ready to roll.

I have also decided that I will be doing my She-shed events on Youtube from now on. I did one today to test it out and need to make a few adjustments, but I believe I have the basics down. I need to move the camera a bit farther back so you can see better, and a few other minor issues.

You can watch the video here if you would like.

Spring is coming

I have been busy preparing for my spring garden, planning what to plant and where. I even managed to get out in the dirt a bit this past week.

I know it is early, but I want to be ready. I was trying to clean things up and get the soil ready. So be sure to order your tubers and seeds now.
