Saturday Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 31
As I typed the title of this post, I was thinking of how I would love to be 31 again. At thirty-one years of age, I had been married for eight years, we had two children 5 and 3, and I was pregnant with twin boys. These were some of the best years of my life (and the craziest). I loved having babies, caring for my family, and being a wife.
Times just seem to fly by these days and I am just not sure how it has been 31 years since I was 31 years old. All of the kids are grown up, I have six grandchildren and found my passion for blogging after 60.
I just keep telling myself, “You are never too old to learn something new.” My only regret is that I wish I learned to blog and share my passion sooner.
I can’t fully put into words how much joy blogging brings me. There’s something so fulfilling about sharing what I love with others. It’s a creative outlet for me, and it’s truly a gift to be able to do something that I love so much.
What have I been up to
It has been two weeks since I wrote my last Saturday post, as I was traveling to a blogging conference called Haven. It is always great to get together and meet up with some of my blogging buddies! We come from all over the country, even Canada.
As you can see from this photo, we know how to have a good time! We were so excited to see Home Depot at the show and meet all of the brands who are looking for bloggers to collaborate with.
We were definitely being goofy, lying in the Home Depot bed and messing around with garden tools. But it was all in good fun, and we had a blast!
I treasure the times I get to be with these girls. And watching my sweet friend KariAnne @thistwoodfarms launch her newest book “10 minute Decorating ideas” was such a special treat.
What’s Happening at WM Design House
The garden is still plugging along, however the darn squirrels ate everyone of my sunflowers.
On the other hand, I did come home to my largest Dahlia yet, even Monroe was impressed and the squirrels seem to leave them alone.
In the meantime, I am going to enjoy every last bloom for the summer.
What Happened This Past Week
Amazingly I was still able to get three posts out this week.

Inspiration From Around The Web
Have you heard of the supper club? This is a group of 5 bloggers who get together and have a themed dinner party once a month.
The tables are always set so beautifully and the food looks divine.
Their theme this month was “Just Peachy” and since I love peaches, I thought I would share all of their beautiful tables with you.
First up is my friend Michele @vintagehomedesigns.
The freshness of this tablescape is simply stunning! Michele’s use of peach plates and fresh greenery is simply darling. The combination of the two creates a sense of lightness and airiness that is perfect for a summer gathering.
Rachel @thepondsfarmhouse
The gorgeous Rudbeckia flowers create the perfect backdrop for Rachel’s darling tablescape. I love how she incorporated the fresh peaches into the centerpiece, using them to fill a vase and add a touch of sweetness to the arrangement.
Stacy @Bricksnblooms
Another stunning table decked out with all of my favorites. Dahlias, zinnias and snapdragons. I love how all of the bright colors pop on the table against the beautiful background.
Ann and AnnMarie @simply2moms
I love this simple and elegant table set by Ann and AnnMarie. The white dishes and flowers provide a clean and fresh backdrop for the peaches. The tablescape is perfect for a summer gathering, or for any occasion where you want to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Jen @midwestlifeandstyle
This table is simply sweet, with a touch of whimsy and elegance. The peachy roses are the perfect centerpiece. The mint green accents and eucalyptus leaves add a touch of freshness, while the peach napkin rings provide a subtle nod to the overall theme.
Each month the gals invite a guest and this month it is Coco @thecrownedgoat
Coco’s table is a feast for the senses. The fresh flowers and peaches are a vibrant burst of color, and the simple and neutral tones of her dishes perfectly complement the summer theme.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how each of the gals interpreted the peachy theme differently in their tablescapes. It was so much fun to see how they each brought their own unique style and personality to the table. I always look forward to the supper club each month, and I’m excited to be their guest in September!
Have a wonderful weekend.
