Saturday Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 33

It’s the weekend, and I hope you have some fun things planned.

We have a wedding today, I can’t wait to see the beautiful bride.

It’s been a very pink week around here!

Our son, daughter-in-law, and two of our five granddaughters arrived from Texas.

Gabby and Lucy

We started off with a Barbie party for our 7-year-old granddaughter McKinley!

What a fun party this was, and a great excuse to get dressed up in all pink.

And check out the Barbie Box! This was so cute and was the hit of the party.

Weekend Adventures

We headed to the beach for a few days so the cousins could all be together. It was the first time I had been at the beach all summer! We had so much fun and lots of activity. And I must say, it was just nice to sit on the beach for a few hours.

It was so good to have all five of our grandaughters together, but we sure missed our one and only grandson. Hopefully, we can do it again soon when everyone can join the fun.

What’s Happening in the Garden

We got hit by Hurricane Hillary last weekend and had 5 inches of rain in one day. So the garden is quite happy and the Zinnias are blooming.

I am still battling the mildew issue and believe I am going to have to get rid of the zucchini plant, It seems to be the culprit and I just can’t seem to get rid of the mildew.

  1. Oh my, your granddaughters are all so adorable! I love the Barbie box, one of my friends has one and she dresses up all 31 days in October as a different Barbie all month. It is so fun to see all of the ideas she comes up with every year. She has yet to repeat a costume! Hope you have fun at the wedding, and that the mildew problem gets resolved. The weather this year sure has been tough for everyone I think.

    1. Cara, that is amazing. Is your friend on IG? I would love to see her costumes. That really is incredible and so much work.
We sure had fun with it for that one day! The wedding was fun even though it took us 2.5 hours to get there. The traffic was so bad.
I hope you had a nice Saturday.

  2. Wendy the photo of you and Lucy is beyond precious. Our only granddaughter is 8 months now and she’s different each time we see her. What a joy they are for the whole family! Glad you got the rain, hopefully no wind or flooding. Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you so much, Debra. We sure had a great time. It is hard for me even to believe we have five granddaughters! I am so glad you have the one to love. Little girls are so special.
I loved the rain in the middle of summer. So unusual for us. Now we are back in the triple digits again. I hope you are not too hot.

  3. Oh my goodness! I love the Barbie box!! I’ll have to share this with my daughter-in-law!
