Saturday Sharing From the She-Shed Volume 23
Happy Saturday!
I hope you are enjoying a nice big hot cup of coffee on this gloomy June day.
We are spending the weekend in Temecula to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Temecula has lots of wineries and is known for its hot-air balloon festivals.
Exciting news – we’re treating ourselves to a massage! I can’t wait.
I will tell you more about the weekend next week.
How was your long weekend? Mine was great, and I enjoyed some downtime, but I feel like I missed a day this week. There are never enough hours in the day or days in the week for me.
I started my week helping my sweet aesthetician hang these darling flowers in her new location.
I love getting my monthly facials from Kathleen. It is the one treat I always give myself. It is so relaxing and just feels so good.
If you have never had a great facial, I highly recommend it. If you happen to live near Pasadena, CA. Message me and I will give you her number. She is the BEST!
We have two Springer Spaniels. Mollie is the brown and white one, and Murphy is the black and white one.
And these stinkers love my white couch!
So, I finally broke down and bought one of those stretch covers to protect it. We will see how long this lasts……..
And Miss Mollie has decided she is going to take over my spot in the bed now too, UGH.
We are such weak dog parents…. how do you keep them off the furniture?
I mean, look at that face. How could I say NO!
What’s Happening at WM Design House
Every morning, my visit to the cut flower garden is the highlight of my day. It is amazing what can happen in a garden in 24 hours. The morning glory grows about 6″ a day, I wonder if I had the patience to sit there if I could actually see them grow.
My first Limelight Zinnia bloomed today! Isn’t she a beauty?
And the Ranunculus are so pretty with all of their pink petals.
This middle picture was my lunch the other day and these snap peas were so sweet, I ate the entire bowlful.
The foxglove garden is also in full bloom with its spikes of purple blossoms. I love how these flowers come back year after year.
What Happened This Past Week
I shared one very long post this week, it was full of every detail you need to know for throwing a dinner party. And there was a gift in there for you!
I have a new FREE printable library. This is a library full of graphics I design and share with all of my subscribers. This week I launched a new program called “Dinner Party Printables” I design the table decorations and provide all of the free printables to you. This way you can re-create the table. I will do this four times a year.

There is no way to say no to those adorable faces Wendy! We have what my husband calls the non-living, living room (tee-hee) where the pup is not allowed. We have a baby gate up across and he is not the slightest bit curious about that room. The rest of the house is up for any excitement, exploration, and playing for our pup. He is one spoiled pooch. I can imagine yours are too!
Thanks for sharing, Cara, I wish I was able to block the room off, I am going to give that some more thought.
It sure would make life easier for sure.
Your sweet pups are too precious, Wendy. Our two cats and one dog have not been kind to our furniture. I think it is about time to break down and get something new!
And I LOVE your gorgeous patriotic tablescape…and the printables are so fun.
I hope you enjoy your weekend!
Awww I love your Springers. I have a black and white, Zoey, and an orange and white Brittany Spaniel named Hannah or Hannah Banana. Last night Zoey took over my side of the bed. Look at that face! Yes! I let her have it and didn’t sleep after 2am. We are bad doggie parents. But they are our baby dolls. Your flowers are gorgeous! I’m in SC so ours have started in March. Flowers sure do make us happy. And thanks for the reminder about giving ourselves the gift of a good facial. I wish I lived in SoCal as I would definitely go to your gal. Sending you sunshine from SC. Love your blog.
Hi Debbie, no nice to e-meet you. Oh, I can imagine how cute your Zoey and Hannah are.
I’m glad we are not the only bad doggie parents. But, You are right. They are our baby dolls and
we adore them, so I am not kicking her out of my bed anytime soon.
I would like to get to SC one day. I hear it is so beautiful. I hope you have been enjoying all of the spring flowers.
Hey Wendy, thanks so much for sharing my patriotic front porch this week, I so appreciate the shout out! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
