My Favorite Way to Decorate my Home with Amazon Fall Decor
Suppose you are a busy bee like me and don’t have much time to go shopping but love to decorate your home for Fall. Today, I have a few secrets to share with you. I am sure I am not the only Amazon lover out there. I even came upon an Amazon Style shop last night.
Have you ever been to one? It is so cool. It is all clothing and accessories. You find items you want to try on, scan the code, enter your size, and like magic, it shows up in a dressing room prepared for you.
My husband and I had a ball. They also recently opened an Amazon Fresh store nearby, but I have not ventured in yet, hopefully soon.
So on with my decorating tricks.
It is relatively simple to change out just a few decor items to bring Fall into your home.
Here is my Must-Have Amazon Fall Decor List for my Living Room
- Pillows
- Throw Blanket
- Florals
- Candles
- Pumpkins
You can see in the image of my living room I added two gold throw pillows, a gold throw blanket, a floral arrangement, a few candles, and a pumpkin. That is it, all from Amazon. Even these gorgeous florals, can you believe it?
The pomegranates are my absolute favorite, and I cannot believe how real they look.
How to Create a Floral Display with Amazon Fall Decor for your Fireplace
We live in a very old house built in 1898, and this is the original fireplace with Batchelder tile.
I created a base for my floral display using a pool noodle that I cut in half, hot glued it to a fence board, and covered it with Spanish moss.
This makes a great base that can sit on the mantel, and you can poke all of your stems into the foam pool noodle.
And Voila, you have a gorgeous statement piece on the fireplace mantel.
Decorating the Dining Room for Fall
This room is always a challenge for me. I am not sure why, but I never seem happy with the look.
I change the chairs around, change the curtains, and it still just doesn’t feel finished. Maybe I need some wallpaper or something, what do you think?
I stuck to the blue and white in here this year. Using my brass candlesticks from Amazon, I love this set and use it all the time.
Next, I added some fresh greenery, a few dried hydrangeas, and my little handmade stuffed pumpkins. These little pumpkins are so fun to make. You can see the tutorial here.
The Kitchen is Where you will find My Friends and Family during the Holidays.
The kitchen is where it all happens, right? and for that reason, everyone hangs out in the kitchen, so I love to have the table set.
First, I started with some pretty linens and chose burlap and woven raffia placemats. The texture was just perfect for my table.
Secondly, I layer the plates starting with a charger, dinner plate, and salad plate.
Third I add my flatware. This copper-handled flatware from Inox is so beautiful, and if you use the code WENDY, you can get 20% off. The quality is fantastic, and it has such a heavy hand which I love.
Lastly, I added a tiered pumpkin tray and a dried floral arrangement to the kitchen island. You can watch the tutorial on the fun pumpkin tray here. You won’t believe how we made this.
Now, if the weather cooperates, I can start some baking, and I will be so happy.
A Wrap-Up of my Fall Decor
The front porch is all decked out with pumpkins and many of my vintage treasures. I even transformed my old rainboots into a flower arrangement. They just looked so cute on the front porch. Keep your eye out for a post where I will share how I made them and the three different ways I styled them.
I added a few touches to the family room. If you don’t know, I love gourds, and you can see several of them here. I also did a Live on Instagram a few weeks ago sharing how to finish a gourd. You can watch the tutorial here.
The coffee and wine bar is decked out in my Terra Cotta pumpkins. These are so easy and inexpensive to make.
Lastly, I added some fall pillows and re-styled the tray on the coffee table in the nautical Parlour room.
Fall is a time for cozy fires, pumpkin spice, and decorating your home to reflect the changing season.
This year, skip the trip to the store and take advantage of Amazon’s massive selection of autumnal decorations. From pumpkins and gourds to festive wreaths and banners, you can find everything you need to create a warm and inviting home for Fall.
Next up on our tour is my friend Libbie @alifeunfolding. Libbie has fabulous taste and was in the decorating industry for over 30 years before she started renovating rental properties and created her blog. Libbie thinks of her blog as a place to share trends, design inspiration, a quick DIY, or her latest home decor finds. You will love a tour of her beautiful home and the great textures she uses.
