Saturday Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 15
Welcome to Saturday’s sharing from the She Shed. I always aim to provide inspiration, creativity, and new ideas for your home and garden. In this weekly post, I share all the happenings at WM Design House and a bit of behind-the-scenes.
What’s Happening at WM Design House
I cannot believe it is Saturday already.
Where do the weeks go? They seem to fly by.
It is yet another cold and rainy day. I keep wanting to get out in that new garden, but I keep getting curve balls thrown at me.
Unusual things keep happening to me, lol!
I got a splinter in my finger that turned into a major infection. This tiny splinter sent me into surgery twice this past week. I am happy to say I have turned the corner and am again on the mend.
Unfortunately, it is my left hand, and I am left-handed :)))
My husband got the garden arbors up this week, and I was hoping to make some wood tomato cages, but that will have to wait.

I had a visitor
I was so grateful for a visit from my dear friend Diane @southhousedesigns. Diane came and stayed with me for a few days, a great distraction from my finger problems.

What’s New
Diane and I took a trip to the local flower market. It was such a treat for a Kansas girl.
Can you even believe how gorgeous these flowers are? I am always so in awe of Mother Nature.
And wait until you see what we did with all these beautiful flowers. I will post a blog post on Wednesday this week instead of Tuesday. You don’t want to miss it. It came out AMAZING!

Wendy, omgosh!!! I’m glad you are alright now; what a story!! My brother Frank had something similar happen to him. He’d stepped on his popsicle house and got a long splinter up in his big toe. Well, it got infected and the piece went inside the bone… Yeah, surgery! It was bad. Did you have that happen, too?? Sometimes even wearing gloves doesn’t help. I kept getting small splinters last weekend while weeding in the flower beds out back and while spreading new wood mulch. The hazards of gardening, lol!!!
Glad you are feeling better and that flower market is incredible!!! I’d be broke. 😉
More hugs,
Barb 🙂
Wow, I sure hope your brother is ok. We got the splinter out, but the infection would not go away.
They had to keep opening it up to relieve the pressure and clean it out. I am grateful that I am feeling better.
Be careful in the garden, my friend!
Oh my friend! You and Diane certainly look like you had a great time at the flower market! So happy your finger is feeling better! And thank you thank you for sharing my St. Patrick’s Day ideas! I hope you have a great week and a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!
Hello friend, I will see you in less then 2 weeks, I am giddy!!!! Thanks for stopping by, so happy to share you as always.
Oh, no! I’m sorry to hear about your finger, but glad you are on the mend. Loving all of the Easter inspiration this week. Now if only our weather would feel like spring, too!
So sad to hear about your finger. Glad that you are on the mend. So fun that you and Diane got to spend a few days together. Hugs and blessings to you, my friend.
I love all of this inspiration Wendy. I cannot believe how a splinter has caused so much havoc on your poor hand. Happy to hear you are healing well! Happy day to you!
Thank you, sweet friend! Yes, hard to believe but true. I hope your Sunday is going well. XO
Hi Wendy, thanks so much for sharing my moss cross in your post. How fun to have Diane with you and a trip to the flower market. and hoping your finger is on the mend. What a bummer for a little thing to cause so much trouble. Happy Sunday!
Hi Debra. Thank you so much for stopping by. I loved all of your great moss projects. We had a great time, bearing this darn finger. However, I am on the mend and we are making progress.
