Meet Wendy

Hi I’m Wendy, and I’m passionate about my family, friends, and my wonderful home! Our home is a place to gather, build memories, and celebrate the journey of life. For me, there is a special joy in designing a space that comforts and inspires. A place that is perfect for entertaining a large party or enjoying a quiet evening on our own.

I've always been a creative type. Whether it’s decorating, gardening, or cooking, I just love to bring beautiful elements together to create something special. I guess it’s in my blood. As a young child in rural Pennsylvania, I would go “foraging” in the woods with my mother and grandmother for natural treasures we could use for decorating and cooking. My mother was a floral designer, so we always had fresh-cut flowers from the garden around the house. But she did so much more to create a warm and inviting home atmosphere. She loved baking, and I can still remember coming home to the aroma of freshly-baked cookies. While they may seem like small things, they certainly were not. What she did had a profound impact on me.

She inspired me to follow my dreams with a life in design. For many years, I’ve designed handbags and seasonal gift programs for major retailers. It’s a career that has taken me around the world in search of beautiful and unique design elements. Now, as I take the time to enjoy our wonderful granddaughters and playful springer spaniels, I’ve enjoyed inviting others to share my vision for a more beautiful home life.

I hope you find inspiration and encouragement here.
