Happy New Year – Lemon decor for a fresh start

Happy New Year to you all!

I know we were all happy to see 2020 go and start with a clean slate for 2021

When the holidays are all put away and the house is a clean slate to work with, I love to bring the fresh lemons in to decorate, cook and clean with. 

As much as I love all of the beautiful winter decors I am seeing on IG and Pinterest, living in Southern California where it never seems to go below 60 degrees, it’s hard for me to resist all of the lemons that are filling the trees, there is just something so fresh about them and I love the touch of yellow with my blue and white decor.

I started this year by creating this beautiful fresh lemon wreath to adorn my front door,  there is nothing more welcoming than a wreath on your door. I will be teaching this class on January 24th and there are just a few spots left, so if you are interested you can sign up on my site.

Decorating The House With Lemons

I bring the lemons into the house and fill bowls and vases with them, they are not only pretty to look at but smell so good.

Mixing fresh lemons with some faux and some greenery helps to create a floral focal piece in a large room, I found the greatest faux lemons stems at Target for only $5.00 and the quality is amazing.
