Saturday Sharing from the She Shed Volume 28
It’s the weekend again! seems like we just had one. I guess with the Holiday on Tuesday, I am all thrown off-kilter.
Are you feeling the same way?
Don’t get me wrong, I loved the holiday, and we had so much fun with the grandkids, but trying to get back to work on Monday and then stop for a day took some adjusting for me. I was a wee bit tired on Wednesday.
Fourth of July
I love the 4th of July. We can all be outside, swimming, gathering with friends, and good BBQ. We even had a girls sleepover.
In our quaint little town, nestled snugly against Mt. Wilson, we are blessed with the most endearing 4th of July parade.
The festivities bring together a delightful mix of local farmers, our esteemed Mayor, and even a sprinkle of whimsical participants.
United in our shared love for this great nation, we joined hands and hearts to celebrate America.
I love the old vintage cars and tractors that come out for the day to celebrate. (maybe that will be me one day) I think I was born to be a farmer at heart.
After the parade concludes, we make our way back home eagerly anticipating a sumptuous feast.
I count myself fortunate to be married to a true BBQ virtuoso.
Our dinner spread consists of delectable ribs, succulent pork roast, and an assortment of sides.
One of the highlights of the meal is my husband’s divine creation—an Apricot BBQ sauce he crafts himself.
What’s Happening at WM Design House
I picked my largest ever Dahlia this week, measuring 12″! I have to admit, I am proud of this baby.
I always love having visitors in the garden. My daughter took less than 30 seconds to grab those clippers and start to create her gorgeous bouquet
Of course, I was thrilled to send her home with these beauties.
