Here are the directions you will need to follow to create these beautiful hearts, it gets a bit messy, but enjoy and have fun!

  • Use a dry paintbrush and paint a layer of the adhesive onto a section of  the heart ( you need to do this in sections )
  • Let the adhesive dry for 10-15 minutes until it is tacky
  • Carefully take the sheet of foil and lay it over the tacky part of the heart
  • Repeat steps 1-3 until the entire heart is covered with the pink foil
  • Take a dry, clean paintbrush and brush off any excess foil, and you will see that the brush will smooth and burnish the foil

The results are stunning! You can experiment and use several colors.

I also used some flat wood hearts and just foiled parts of the heart, and I love the results. However, I did find that the wood absorbed the glue quickly, so it was a bit harder to work with.
