Saturday Sharing from the She-Shed Volume 37

I am always so thrilled for Saturday mornings.

Especially when the weather is cool and I have a warm cup of coffee in my hand.

We arrived home from our trip on Wednesday, and I am trying to play catch up.

It is already the middle of October, and you know what that means: Christmas is coming…..

Ideally, I would have everything up and ready to go by Nov. 1, but I’m not so sure that is going to happen this year.

Family Time

Instead of digging through Christmas boxes, we enjoyed our visit to Chicago, where we visited one of our youngest sons and his family.

Catching Up With Friends

I also got to catch up with one of my blogging buddies, Lynn @livinglargeinasmallhouse. It was a beautiful day to visit her lovely home and take a boat ride down the river. Meeting up with my friends from all over the country is always a treat.

I fell in love with Chicago. The pretty blue sky, and can we just talk about the stores???

This store was truly extraordinary, boasting four levels brimming with exquisite items, spanning from home goods to clothing, and even housing a delightful coffee shop. Can you recognize this store? It’s remarkable how easily we can identify an iconic brand.

I have no doubt that you guessed it correctly, but just in case you need my help, it was the Ralph Lauren store.

Geneva, Illinois

This quaint and historic town was full of beautiful buildings, shops, and the nicest people. We enjoyed an afternoon with our grandson strolling the streets, shopping and dining,
