When it comes to protein choices, chicken is a versatile option. The easiest method is to purchase a rotisserie chicken and shred it yourself.

12. Cotija Cheese
Cotija cheese is a crumbly and salty cheese originating from Mexico. Named after the town of Cotija, it is often used in Mexican cuisine to add a distinctive flavor and texture to dishes. The cheese is made from cow’s milk and has a crumbly, granulated texture, similar to feta cheese.
13. Nacho Cheese Sauce
A smooth and savory blend of melted cheese combined with other ingredients such as milk, cream, or spices to achieve a smooth and flavorful consistency ideal for drizzling on top of your nachos.

A delectable treat, also known as Elote, features grilled corn smothered in a flavorful combination of mayonnaise, cotija cheese, chili powder, and lime juice. This iconic street food perfectly balances smokiness, creaminess, and zesty freshness. Typically, you can eat it right off of the cob, or cut the kernels off to serve for a nacho bar.
