My Favorite Shackets
Do you know what a shacket is?
Let me tell you about my favorite shackets. The shacket is my new favorite piece of clothing. I have some that are short, some that are long, some that are a solid color, and others that are plaid.
A shacket is an ideal, year-round layering piece. It is a shirt thick enough to be between a shirt and a jacket.
Shackets’ roots may come from the military-style shirt-jackets, but now they’re prevalent enough to have a name that’s not a hybrid: Some people prefer to call them ‘overshirt’ to ‘shacket’
and you will find them everywhere now.
Shackets come in many different colors, fabrics, and lengths.
This black corduroy shacket is the perfect go-to shirt for a casual day about town.
It is heavy enough to wear as a jacket but light enough to wear as a shirt.
My favorite shackets are so warm and cozy!
This Sherpa fleece shacket is genuinely unique! It is so soft, and you won’t want to take it off. The color is also so versatile and will go with anything.
Give your look a cozy-meets-cool vibe by layering a shacket over a cami with a pair of leggings and boots. You can also dress up your shacket with cropped trousers and a tucked-in top for a chic combo that’ll have you feeling fabulous.
I love the feel and casual style of this blue plaid shacket, perfect with jeans or a black pair of leggings.
Or this fantastic plaid shacket! I think this one is truly one of my go-to shackets.
Another one of my favorite shackets is this long black and white plaid.
This adorable long black and white plaid shacket is so warm and cozy!
I also found some fantastic pieces to add to my fall/winter wardrobe.
This dirty pink sweater is so cute, and it comes in three colors pink, cream and grey, for under $30.00
And this is the perfect transition outfit for fall in Southern California.
This darling gold blouse has such a trendy sleeve, and I have paired it with my favorite white jeans by Mother.
Finish off the look with the everyday boots from Madewell and a chunky gold bracelet.
And who does not love a trendy blouse you don’t have to iron and looks like a million bucks for under $30.00.
I have paired this blouse with another pair of my favorite Mother’s jeans and a slip-on pair of Madewell booties. These booties are indeed my favorites.
Finish your look with a tortoise bracelet.
