Sunday Sharing From the She-Shed Volume 49

Happy Sunday, friends!

Can you believe that it will be May 1st this week? The days, weeks, and months seem to slip by so quickly lately.

The great news is that May is such a beautiful time of the year, and the garden is starting to explode.

Speaking of the garden, we hosted our garden tour on the 14th, and it turned out beautifully. Despite some rain, many people attended to support the Sierra Madre Arts. I had a wonderful time conversing with so many of the attendees. Additionally, I enjoyed touring the other homes on the circuit and admiring their gorgeous gardens.

Here are a few pictures from our home.

What is Happening at WM Design House

Now that the majority of the spring gardening is finished, I am able to sit back a little bit and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

I have really enjoyed some time sitting on the front porch and reading.

My foot saga continues, but I have to say it has not been as painful lately. In the meantime, I had a second MRI and I am waiting to see a specialist on May 23rd.

One of the best parts of being a blogger is all of the fantastic people I have met from all over the country.

Yesterday, my friend Lynn @livinglargeinasmallhouse from Chicago visited California as her son recently got married. If you love a beautiful, cozy home, give her a follow in the link above.

We were able to spend the day with Lynn and her family. We went to visit the LA Flower Market, had a great lunch at our house and then put a few arrangements together for Lynn to celebrate her son and his new wife this weekend.

I loved meeting her family and spending the day with them all.

Yesterday, my husband and I had a thrilling day watching our oldest granddaughter compete in a dance competition. She performed beautifully and won 1st place in all three of her dances! We are incredibly proud grandparents. Unfortunately, they did not allow pictures or videos, so I only have one after photo to share.

Additionally, we had our third granddaughter over for a sleepover. She enjoyed her time with us and especially loved prancing in the garden (in her nightgown) and helping care for Lynn’s new grandson, Harrison.
