Ingredients
4cupsof old-fashioned oatsbe sure to use certified gluten-free oats
1cupof sliced almonds
1/2cupof brown sugar
One teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4teaspoonof salt
1/3cupof Canola Oil
Canola oil spray
1/4cupof organic honey
2tablespoonsof white sugar
4teaspoonsof vanilla extract
Almond ExtractIf you want a tad bit more almond flavor, you can use half vanilla and half almond flavoring

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients with oats, brown sugar, sliced almonds, cinnamon, and salt and set aside.
Mix the wet ingredients in a small saucepan. Canola oil, honey, and white sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
Combine the oats mixture with the wet mixture and stir well.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Spread the granola mixture in an even layer on the prepared sheet pan. (I like using a large baking sheet so the mixture is thin and not piled on the tray).
Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Be sure to turn the granola every ten minutes or your granola may burn.
Bring the granola to room temperature using the tips below and store it in an airtight container.
