Equipment

  • 1 Martini Shaker
  • 1 Shot Glass
  • 1 Stir Spoon

Ingredients

  • Ice cubes
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces ¼ cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1 ounce 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • Lemon wheel or twist for garnish
  • Optional: a few fresh pomegranate seeds for floating on top or string them on a skewer
  • Optional festive rim: sugar mixed with a pinch of crushed freeze-dried pomegranate or edible glitter

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and orange liqueur.
  • Shake until icy cold (about 30 seconds).
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel, twist, or a few floating pomegranate seeds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Optional: Add a Festive Sugared Rim

  • This is a fun way to elevate your presentation.
  • To make it:
  • Mix 3 Tbsp. sugar with a pinch of edible glitter.
  • Dip the rim of the glass onto a stack of a few damp paper towels and dip into the sugar mix.
