This and That……

It has been another busy week at WM Design house. I always seem to have so many projects going simultaneously, does that sound familiar?

I love Mondays as I play Pickleball with a few of my girlfriends. It’s essential to take time for ourselves, and one of the ways I do that is to get some exercise. I try to play 2-3 times a week. So what do you do to take care of yourself?

Have you ever played Pickleball?

Pickleball is a cross between tennis, badminton, and ping pong. You play with a paddle and a Wiffle ball. It is the perfect sport for me, and I love that you play on half of a tennis court. So it’s not too much running around at my tender age.

The dreaded craft room clean-up.

You may have seen that I started the dreaded project of organizing my craft room, and I was not so excited about this, but it had to get done, and now that the worst is behind me, I am excited to continue re-vamping this room.

Many of us have these rooms where everything just gets dumped, right? I know they are not pretty pictures, but this is reality. So, of course, I would instead create all day long than organize my messes.

This room used to be one of our son’s bedrooms. I have acquired most of the furniture in this room from Estate sales. My husband refinished the work table for me, and I am deciding what to do with a few other pieces.

One of my favorites is the large piece of furniture with all the jars.

Can you guess what this was? If you thought of a bar, you were correct.

It is the perfect piece for me to store many of my craft supplies. I have a love for vintage jars as well, so this was the perfect marriage for me. And look how it closes up, isn’t this cool?

I’m not sure I love this piece’s finish and wish it was a lighter color, but refinishing it would be a lot of work. What are your thoughts?

Here is the buzz on what is coming in the craft room 🙂 From WM Design House

Stay tuned for the progress, I will be wallpapering soon, and then I have an enjoyable collaboration with Garage Royalty to help me organize above my table.

She Shed Happenings

It was a great week in the she shed. In case you missed it on my Instagram Live. I created this adorable bird’s nest, made a few mushrooms from the forest, and hung some hydrangeas to dry. I also filmed another exciting garden orb project I will write about in detail. Can you believe I made this out of hula hoops?

. You can watch the full tutorial of the birds next and mushrooms here.

Will it be a boy or a girl?

On another note, we are excited for our Florida kids to come home. We are thrilled to be welcoming our fifth grandchild in January. The reveal party will be held at our home on Sept. 2nd, and we can’t wait to see what our daughter-in-law will be having.

We currently have four granddaughters. Will we be adding to our girl tribe, or maybe we will get our first grandson?

I am so accustomed to girls at this point, not sure I will know what to do with a little boy, LOL. However, I did have three of them myself.

Our daughter-in-law wants a neutral baby theme, so I chose these adorable plates we will decorate with green and white balloons and a few flowers.

I often get asked about what I wear or what beauty products I use, so today, I thought I would share a few of my favorites these dresses are all under $40.00 and have become my summer wardrobe.
