The 12 Best Items to Pack For the Perfect Vacation
Check out what is on my vacation packing list. You don’t want to leave home without them. They are sure to make your trip a great one.
It’s vacation time, WOO HOO, and I am kicking it off to a great start by sharing what is on my vacation packing list.
It is my 60th birthday (I honestly can’t believe it, I just turned 50), and we are going with the family to Mexico. I look forward to spending time with the family and enjoying some downtime.
Have you had a chance to get away this summer? If not, I hope you can find some time to get away, even if it’s just a day trip to the beach. Some fresh air and beautiful scenery are great for your mind and soul.
As I was packing, I thought about the 12 essentials on my vacay packing list, along with a few of my other favorites.

Here are my top 12 things I am packing
1. A Great Tote Bag
I have two options, a cute straw bag that I love. It has two bright-colored tassels to jazz it up. I also bought some extra tassels so I can interchange the colors.
2. Favorite Carry-On Bag
The second bag is a jute market bag that makes the perfect carry-on bag. It is Ecco friendly and holds everything. In addition, it has a long removable strap that is perfect for travel.
3. The Perfect Visor
A hat is a must on my vacay packing list for the beach, however, it can be hard to travel with them. I love this visor as it rolls up and takes very little room in the mu suitcase. A visor also allows me to put my hair up and out of the way.
4. The Best Self-tanner
I have very fair skin, so a little help with the tan is always good. This Tan-lux is the best self-tanner. You simply add a few drops to your moisturizer. It does not streak and leaves you with the perfect glow.
5. My Go-To Long-Lasting Lip Stain
I love a long-lasting lip stain, and this is my go-to lipsense, a light lip stain that lasts most of the day. I also apply the gloss to keep my lips moist. Lipsense is especially significant when you are in the pool and around a lot of water.
6. My Essential Sunscreen
Sunscreen is one of the essential items on my vacay packing list. Revisions intellishade is a broad-spectrum tinted moisturizer with SPF45. I love the consistency and coverage you get with this product.
7. The Greatest Makeup Remover

9. The Perfect Pair Of Earrings
Looking great is always at the top of my list when I am on vacation. A great pair of earrings can make your outfit, and I bought this set of 10 pairs for $19.99. They are a great assortment of bright and fun earrings in a plastic travel box.

Spray sunscreen is a must. I like the ease of the spray. I am a Coppertone girl and can’t leave home without
great sunscreen.
11. Last But Not Least
An excellent mindless book is always at the top of my list. I don’t know about you, but I want to lay on a lounge chair and read a great love story.
12. Voloom Hair Volumizer
And OH!!!! I have two bonus items I have on my vacation packing list!
Have you ever heard of Voloom? This is a ceramic hair volumizer, and it performs miracles on your hair.
Bonus Item
And lastly, I must take a bottle of Pfb. This is the answer to any razor burn or rash you might get. You never know, so always be prepared.
